I've always been inspired by typography in old magazines, and had a stack to go through from my dad this past semester. I've also been drawn to the idea of mixing old photographs with bold text, and the maximalism of collage. I decided to use tacky old sayings with cartoon and photographic images for a nostalgic feel with whimsical colors.
